This iReport is part of an assignment:
Athena, Sandy double trouble.
Athena ended up doing what Sandy didn't complete. Many other Long Islanders are now out in the dark and cold when Noreaster Athena hit the northeast last night. Many trees already weakened by Superstorm Sandy had no protection against Athena and ended up coming down on the streets along with power lines. Many more residents are now without power along with all the thousands of residents that have been without power since Sandy hit back on October 10. Still no sign of LIPA in many towns.
