Daniel Craig does an outstanding job as his 3rd incarnation of the Bond character 007. Javier Bardem adds a flare to the villainous character that is believable. A deep seeded wickedness, the origin revealed as the movie unfolds.
The two Bond girls, Naomie Harris and Bérénice Marlohe are the predicatable off the chart sexy yet their strength, cleverness, and intelligence are far more predominant. Judi Dench is a phenomenal actress, that doesn't change no matter what role she is playing. Her hardened, beloved, character M, stands the test of time.
One has to mention the excellent actors that are in the supporting cast role including, Ralph Fiennes, Albert Finney, Ben Whishaw and Rory Kinnear.
Not much can be said about this Bond film without giving too much of the storyline away. What can be said, SKYFALL 007 is a movie in and of it's self. it tells a story, filling in details of the characters that had not been revealed before.
Will there be Academy Awards in the future for this Bond flick? Possibly, definitely for the musical score, SKYFALL. The theme song, written and performed by Adele, tells the story of Bonds past and present and the 50 year love affair viewers have had with the James Bond film series.
SKYFALL opens on November 9th, a must see in an IMAX theatre, it's excellent!!
