A No Brainer
There was a certain urgency this election. I had to vote. It had nothing to do with my civic duty, but more to do with I had to make my voice heard.
You see, I'm one of those people who believes all people deserve to enjoy the same rights as the next guy.
When President Obama won this election, I breathed a sigh of relief. I know in my heart I voted for the right man.
What I mean by "A No Brainer" is the economy needs to come first. I hope the two sides can stop all the childish stand offs and compromise with one another for the good of our country.
Equally important to me is that we take care of our Veterans and their families. That they get the care they need, when they need it.
I want to see us moving forward and building new opportunities for our youth and for women as well.
Will I see these things happen? I suppose time will tell.
