This iReport is part of an assignment:
'Superstorm' Sandy: Your stories |
You Loot. I Shoot
It's been 13 days since Sandy brought destruction to the Eastcoast. It's also been 13 days since the cities along NY have been without power or necessary resources. The frustration level is rising as more and more homes are found under horrible conditions. Some homes were submerged under water six feet from ground level. As the temperatures levels decrease it's hard to imagine all the losses and memories that washed away. Utility crews in the area try to restore as much and quickly as possible, staying in tents and eating rations and away from their families coming as far as CA and RI. These are the real heroes. Warm weather on Sunday is a short break in the weather that is going to be well appreciated. Lets hope we see more good news in the days to come.
