(3) Bikes Bring Hurricane Relief for Staten Island (3 of 5 videos)
In this third video, we are at Midland Beach Sandy Relief Depot. Ronnie, who works for NYC, seems to be in charge, and gives us our mission: go take relief supplies by bike to more remote blocks where they need it most. Which is pretty much what we were planning on doing anyway. But hey, it is nice to get the official blessing. So we load up. I plan to head South to Cedar Grove, which is cut off from the Midland Beach area when the main road dead ends in a field. They need stuff there, but what?
This is the third video in a series about NYC bicyclists bringing relief to remote, hard-to-reach areas of Staten Island.
