Hard Hit Sections of New Jersey

These pictures were taken over the past week in portions of Central NJ hit hard by Sandy & Athena. Portions of my town are still without power nearly 2 weeks after Sandy.

Much of the damage here were caused by trees coming down from the wind. These pictures include a house near mine split in half by a large tree. There are several nearby in the same condition. They are now uninhabitable and condemned. The 2nd picture is of a trampoline in a neighbors backyard crushed by a falling tree.

Both show the power of the storm and winds knocking over strong, heavy trees.
