Featured on CNN's 100 Places to Eat Like a Local on Saturday, November 10, 2012. McCray's Backyard BBQ has been cooking the world's best barbecue for over 75 years. The favorite menu items for McCray's Backyard BBQ are the world famous ribs and chicken with twist sauce. The Twist sauce is a combination of the McCray's Backyard BBQ mild and sweet sauce lightly twisted on top of the meat.
Owner Derrick McCray followed his father's footsteps by opening McCray's Backyard BBQ. The original McCray's BBQ was opened by his father, Herman McCray, in Riviera Beach in 1977. McCray's Backyard BBQ is the local favotire spot for the best ribs and chicken in town.
McCray's Backyard BBQ has been invited by the NFL to cater every Big Game tailgate party and private events for the players since 2007.
McCray's Backyard BBQ was invited by Adidas and Top Cat Sales Team to tailgate for the Michigan vs. Michigan State game Saturday, October 20, 2012 at Michigan Stadium. McCray's Backyard BBQ has been invited by the NFL to cater the Super Bowl Tailgate Party and Player Network Exhibit each year since 2007.
McCray's Backyard BBQ uses eight custom-made grills to cook the world's best barbecue. In addition to the ribs, chicken, beef brisket and pulled pork, a variety of seafood items are available such as conch salad and fried shrimp. McCray's Backyard BBQ offers professional catering service and menus to fit any occasion.
