    SOHO means S'uthern Hospitality

    There's a small eatery in the Market District of Cleveland, Ohio called SOHO where Chef/Owner Nolan Konkowski and his partner Molly Smith have created something special. He had worked his way up working at Lopez y Gonzalez with Rick Bayless. Then as Chef at Momocho a Mod- Mex Restaurant before becoming Executive Chef at Tartine Bistro. His experience comes through with every bite. He loves creating southern inspired meals. Wednesday nights is Chicken Scratch Wednesday where you pick the amount of fried chicken you want with sides to match. He's extremely inventive. His special Bourbon dinners, beer dinners and wine dinners are not to be missed. Not one to shy away from creating and adding seasonal additions to his menu. Some of my personal favorites are The Oyster Rockefeller, Fried Green Tomatoes, Country Carpaccio made with a southern cured prosciutto from Edward & Sons + Shrimp & Grits. Fried chicken available Mornin' Style with corn bread waffles, bourbon-spiked Ohio maple syrup or Evenin' Style with mashed potatoes, stewed collards, bourbon gravy. All the Po' Boys are worth a try. I wouldn't be surprised if your favorite is his vegetarian offering which consists of Veggie & Peanut "Meat" Balls with
    Étouffée relish, Sweet Grass tomme. Amazing as is his Pecan Pie. Everything is made from scratch sauces, all handcrafted cocktails with house fresh squeezed juices. My favorite cocktail is the Charleston a watermelon gin concoction that is delicious and refreshing. Almost forgot nothing says comfort like his mac & cheese offered as a side dish. A bowl of Smoked Gouda Mac w/ mustard crumbs. It'll set you straight.
