    Europe's financial crisis

    poverty in France

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     iReporter pascalgrand was walking through Perpignan in southern France when he spotted several homeless people sleeping under a billboard looking for workers. "It was windy and cold and I thought the faces on the billboard and the homeless people were an interesting contrast," he said. While attention on the Eurozone financial crisis has focused on nations such Greece and Portugal, our iReporter says France is experiencing its own problems with unemployment and poverty. "The problem is that in France for the past 40 years we haven't changed and a system that won't adapt will fail," he said. He also says that his compatriots are mistaken about where power lies in his country. "They make a lot of noise about our presidential elections but they don't have the power - it's all in Brussels," he says. "EU elections are important - our voice counts through the European parliament."
    - sarahbrowngb, CNN iReport producer

as I was walking down the street on November the 11 th 2012, I saw this sign (urgent looking for humans (part time or full time)), above these homeless people with a dog.
