    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     These unusual images of forts comes from an exhibition held every year for Diwali in the Indian city of Pune. iReporter specialrepo says Diwali, or the festival of lights, is a time for spirituality as well as reflection. "It enlightens our lives, eliminating darkness of pride, selfishness and lack of knowledge or superstitions," he says.

    By Ketan Tirodkar.... There is a tradition of making Forts of soil in Maharashtra; western-Indian State. Some cities hold exhibition & contests; & the best Fort is awarded prize. Emperor Shivaji of Western-India built forts for fighting against Moghals. He started capturing Forts of Moghals at the age of 16. This Exhibition is held in Cultural Capital of Maharashtra; Pune at Savai Gandharva Garden.
