Latina's Italian Restaurant
Latina's has the best lasagna around! I have been eating at this family establishment since I was 15 and I am now 51! A year ago they had a contest and the winner won 1 free year of lasagna and guess who won? Yep!! Me!! Every week I pickup a lasagna that will feed 3 people and it is a single order! The noodles are so tender but not over cooked. There is a ton of gooey cheese throughout this dish. Don't even get me started on the sauce! It is homemade not out of a freezer or can like some big chains.
Now let's talk about the antipasto salad! It is huge. Wedges of cheese, rolled up ham, mushrooms, pepperoni, green olives, black olives, tomatoes and let's not forget the best pickles on the face of the earth!! Delish!!
The bread served with meals is so good. You can get it with regular butter, honey butter and the honey is created locally or my favorite with olive oil and Italian spices!! You will want to eat more than 1 slice but just remember to save room for that lasagna!!
The prices are very reasonable. When a couple people can eat on 1 lasagna for under $15.00 it's a bargain! Latina's is a stand out in this community.
