Winter magic
- Anika3, CNN iReport producer
In all things, positives and negatives co-exist. Live the paradox. In literature it is called dramatic tension. In Chinese philosophy it is called Yin and Yang.
Sometimes good fathers lose their cool. Some judges and policemen are corrupt. Giving too much to children can destroy their ability to care for themselves. Smothering little creatures with too much love will make them want to escape their home. Put this way, if you make life too easy for your children or grandchildren they will never grow up to fulfill any destiny.
Put it another way: Teach your children to wild and dangerously under the open sky. Then again, what do I know?
