He previously held engineering management positions at EMULEX, Western Digital, 3M and Ford Motor Company. He holds a BSEE degree from the University of Michigan where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He has written over 20 journal and symposium articles and is the inventor on eleven U.S. patents.
