    A Pony Named Sandy

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     acknutz photographed this image of an optical illusion hidden within a tree stump. During Hurricane Sandy this tree was a part of a group of trees that caused damage to garages and homes in the Maplewood, New Jersey. It was only until after studying the tree stump for some time did acknutz see the image of the horse.

    In the aftermath of Sandy, this image was discovered in a cut from a once towering tree, now on the ground, having contributed to the decimation of a garage and car when it fell.
