    Invited To The Wedding: Is This A Photo of a Religious Icon at a Mount Hope, Ontario Wedding?

    In this day and age of photographic hoaxes and photographic manipulation, the displaying and sharing of digitally enhanced and digitally altered photographs are at an all-time high.

    Photo analysts have debunked such hoaxed and fraudulent photographs both in still and movie format, and yet, a picture that was brought to for analysis has left experts scratching their heads and asking the question, “Is this the smoking gun that proves the existence of Jesus Christ?”

    The photo, which appears with this article, which has been entrusted to REL-MAR McConnell Media Company in Hamilton, Ontario, was taken at a wedding held in August 2012. The wedding and reception was held in the backyard of a modest home just west of Hamilton in the community of Mount Hope.

    This is what is known about the photo:

    1. The image in the photograph was immediately noticed after the pictures were developed;

    2. The type of camera and film type and speed is not known;

    3. The photo was taken by the Mother of the Bride in their backyard during the wedding reception;

    4. The photographer of this photograph does not have a direct affiliation with any particular religious organization or religious philosophy;

    5. The photographer of this photo is a down-to-earth, honest, hardworking, dedicated, responsible professional, in her early 50’s and well respected in her community.

    The original photograph, of which there are no copies, has been analyzed by REL-MAR McConnell Media Company’s Digital Media Services using several digital enhancing-analysis programs and there were no signs whatsoever of digital manipulation or altering in any manner.

    The photograph is simply one of those “life’s mysteries” that truly make us question what we believe to be real or a subliminal suggestion by another.

    However, the picture seems to speak to those who view it.

    The photographer believes that her photograph is a message to the newlyweds, that their union has been blessed by a visit from someone who did not receive a written invitation but an invitation from the heart.

    Some of the people that have seen this photo, of which you are now seeing publicly for the first time, with the permission of the owner, who wishes to remain anonymous to protect her identity and the privacy of her family, have reported seeing other figures in the photo, including:

    a. the Virgin Mary kissing the face of Jesus;

    b. the Jesus on the Cross;

    c. a blessing from Jesus;

    d. a lamb kissing the face of Jesus;

    e. an angel’s wing.

    Throughout history there have been visitations of religious figure including Our Lady of Fatima who reportedly appeared in apparitions to three shepherd children at Fátima, Portugal. These occurred on the 13th day of six consecutive months in 1917, starting on May 13. The three children were Lúcia dos Santos and her cousins Jacinta and Francisco Marto.

    A 900-foot-tall Jesus Christ assured Oral Roberts his massive City of Faith project will be built, Roberts said in 1984, in a fund-raising letter recently brought to light by one of his detractors.

    Roberts said in his letter that on May 25th he spoke to Jesus who said "I told you that I would speak to your partners and, through them, I would build it!" Partners is the term Roberts applies to the donors who have given millions to raise the Tulsa hospital, the tallest building in the city.

    Other religious visitations and miracles have been reported around the world since the beginning of written history.

    In an time when people are seeing UFOs, Ghosts, Bigfoot and other “visitations” that are broadcast to the masses by the media, it very refreshing that there are still those simple, yet profound “unknowns”  that give us hope that there will be a better tomorrow based on promises made so very long ago.
