This iReport is part of an assignment:
    Solar eclipse in Australia

Pictures of partial eclipse in Wellington,New Zealand

I took a few pictures during today's solar eclipse in New Zealand.

The first one is taken through my telescope by using my iphone pointing to the eyepiece (with solar filter on telescope)
The second one is taken by directly facing to the sun with the same iphone.
It's amazing,on the second picture, there is a small half moon-like object just under the sun which was at the same time eclipsed by the moon.
Can anyone explain me the second picture?
