    The peaceful transfer of the Libyan authorities for more than 42 years

     

    Libyans today asked themselves, why are we living this historic days of change, why the opportunity for democracy is shining now, in our days, why the most important time of Libya is being now, not years ago, simply because WE ARE THE ONES,
    We should all know and believe that Libya has chosen this generation to take this responsibility, because she trusts us, so the excuse that we are not ready or we are not qualified enough to lead this change, should disappear, because we have already approved that we are ready for democracy when men and women went to gave their votes in the first free national election for 60 years,
    I was touched on today’s evening to see the different parties joined together singing the National Anthem, it approved for me that tomorrow the days will gather us for peace and good, because the dream of a democratic civilized Libya is calling for us together.
    Today we are not anti-Geddafi or pro, east or west, Liberal or extremist, today we are just LIBYANS.
    The peaceful transfer of the authorities today has showed that Libyans have stood against those who are ready to abandoning every value except the will to power, those who hated to see a democratically elected government and who hated to see freedoms: freedom of speech, freedom of vote and assemble and disagree with each other.
    And tomorrows fight is not however just the revolutionaries fight, This is the all Libyans fight. This is civilization's fight. This is the fight of all who believe in progress and pluralism, tolerance and freedom. So today is the time for a national reconciliation, the time for all Libyans to join each other to put Libya in a path way of success, and today, tomorrow and the days to come we should only remember one thing; that we are all Libyans sharing the same hopes, that we all want a better future for Libya, that we all want our environment to be safe, that we all want to make a difference for the next generations, we all want the war to end and that we are all looking forward to see the rest of the world thinking highly in our amazing country one day.
