    The North Eastern Tempest

The NE coast is no stranger to storms. Just last year, we had a huge snow storm around Halloween that left 2 million without power. But somehow the combination of Sandy and Athena still has the NE coast reeling from the impact. More than 8.5 million without power for days!
The picture is of a little stream in front of my apartment...the huge pine tree that was uprooted during Sandy, now covered with a thick layer of snow. The damage hidden by the beauty of the pristine snow!
