    Israel launches an airstrike in retaliation for hundreds of rockets fired by Hamas.
    Hamas military commander Ahmed al-Jaabari is killed by the airstrike.

     

    Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades stated the killing of Ahmed al-Jaabari has "Opened the gates of Hell."

     

    I say good for Israel.
