This iReport is part of an assignment:
Bailout outrage |
Nationalize this!
Fannie Mac and Freddie Mae, AIG, etc. The federal government should not keep bailing out these companies. It is the fault of the CEO's that such companies have gone to crumbs.
Put these CEO's on stand, and freeze their personal accounts. Use their money to bail their companies out. After all, they are the ones who brought such companies to the verge of bankrupcy.
$85 - 90 billion? Why not nationalize education? By education I mean colleges. Perhaps doing all colleges at once is a bit much, so why not start off with Community Colleges, and Tech schools? Then to Universities? Making education free for college students.
Between the spending on the war in Iraq, and the spending on bailing out such companies, so much money could of been used for education. And could have been used for alternative energy, and a study in new technologies for powering of cars.Magnetic based cars anyone?
