    Introduction: Global Puzzle/ Thank You

    At White Pine Middle School, our students (learning community 6-1) watch CNN Student News as part of our morning routine. We heard you request videos expressing thanks, and wanted to thank CNN Student News for increasing our global awareness, which directly connects to our recent globalization unit.
    The puzzle pieces and flags our students held up in the video came directly from their individual globalization projects. As we learned about different countries, students found themselves tying curriculum to current events you've covered .

    Thank you for considering our news introduction, as our students look forward to your daily updates and are even more excited about the possibility of being seen in an upcoming report.

    Listed below is the student script that we used for our video:

    "Welcome to CNN Student News! We are learning community 6-1 from White Pine Middle School in Saginaw, Michigan and we are one piece of the global puzzle. Thank you CNN Student News for keeping us connected to that puzzle. Piece it together Carl!"
