    Macy's Holiday Windows

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     RVCFOTO captured these lovely photos of the unveiling of the Macy's Christmas windows on Thursday, November 15, in New York City. "It was festive and everyone was singing along to holiday music. My favorite is always watching the kids faces light up watching the performances and the window decorations," she says. "It is a nice tradition to start up the holiday season."

    Macy’s Herald Square unveiled their holiday windows on Thursday November 15th a week before the famous Thanksgiving Day Parade. This year’s theme is the story of Virginia O’Hanlon, the little girl who believes in Santa Claus.

    A large crowd gathered to hear Christmas carols performed by the Essential Voices USA Group and see some of the cast of “Annie “and “Elf” musicals playing on Broadway.

    Taylor Richardson from "Annie" and Wayne Knight from "Elf" were at the podium for the countdown of the unveiling. Aaron Juarez –a make a wish kid who came from Arizona with his family served as decorating assistant.
