    Hurricane Hostess Causes Widespread Hoarding

    Hurricane Hostess is brewing and stores across the country are being wiped clean of such nostalgic snack cakes as Twinkies and Ding Dongs.  Following news of Hostess's demise, I created my own survival kit, enough sponge cake and sugary filling to last through the upcoming storm.  And don't forget about the holiday season amidst the widespread panic; there are still a select few packages of Hostess Holiday Fruitcake left in my local market, as well as enough slices of Wonder bread for leftover turkey and stuffing sandwiches.
