    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     ivengerk captured this photo of people protesting at Tel Aviv University on November 15. "The scene was intense, you could feel the tension on campus. I always saw the conflict in Israel on television, but I never actually saw it up close and personal," she says. "Let's just say I was shaken up for the rest of the day. Only to get off the bus later that night to go home and hear the sirens go off for the very first time. I was standing in the middle of the street terrified. Though I am in danger, I do feel safe."

    I think it would be interesting for you guys to do a story on the Americans living here throughout all this. Its become so surreal here especially for me I made citizenship just a month ago and now I'm in this awful situation. Its very interesting when I talk to the Americans versus the Israelies about what is going on. I am including a picture taken on Thursday when I entered Tel-Aviv University. There was a huge protest. Its also very interesting being in a program that includes Arabs and Jews together. Feel free to call.
