Egyptians protest against Israeli attacks on Gaza

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     arasquare shot these protest photos at the Arab League headquarters in Downtown, Cairo, on November 17. "Protesters were holding Palestinian flags, pictures of victims and holding signs in solidarity with the Palestinians in Gaza," he says. "Protesters were filled with grief and sorrow for the lives lost and disappointed with the Arab Ministers of Foreign Affairs for not doing enough effort to stop the ongoing violence."
    - Anika3, CNN iReport producer

Hundreds of Egyptians protested outside the Arab League headquarters in Cairo during the meeting of Arab Ministers of Foreign affairs. The protest was against Israeli attacks on Gaza. There have been many protests since the beginning of the attacks and more are expected if the situation continues as it is. Protesters demanded an immediate halt to the ongoing Israeli military operations in the Gaza Strip, which have so far claimed the lives of at least 40 Palestinians.
