Mykonos II: The Best Greek Food Plus More!
The owner, Dimitrios, is from Greece, so you know the food is authentic. When he started his business back in CT (Mykonos), he fine tuned his menu to incorporate a wide variety without subjecting the eater to a plethoric amount of choices. He does it all from HUGE Greek salads, savory gyros and succulent dinner plates, AWARD winning pizzas, and finish it all off with delectable deserts like baklava and flan!
The reason I said "and more" in the title is now that the restaurant is in Florida (the original still runs in CT by his brothers), and now has the "II" moniker, the new menu includes some of the Cuban and Italian menu choices from the prior owner that sold the building to Dimitrios. That way, the prior owners clientele can still enjoy their favorites from the old menu, while getting to experience the scrumptious delights from the Mediterranean!
If you ever find yourself in the Brooksville area of Florida (about 45 minutes due north of Tampa), you need to check them out! The atmosphere of this family ran business is so welcoming, and as soon as you step into the restaurant the divine aromas take over and you know you've made the right choice!
