I’m one of multiple taxpaying law abiding residents who is not upset that LA County courthouses are being closed due to budget deficits!

The closing of LA County courthouses is welcomed by the innocent who have been wrongfully convicted or jailed, had property taken from them, etc., etc., without good cause.  Furthermore property taxpayers such as myself and others must pay property taxes, or  face the threat of losing real property owned for non-payment of property taxes,

.......pay Los Angeles County property taxes to finance unethical, disgraceful, and sometimes criminal court officials, elected officials, etc., etc.

Count me out for any further increase in taxes to finance such foolishness, because here again, I receive little, if any, benefit for the years of LA County property taxes that I have already paid, or LA County property taxes, State, and Federal taxes that I must pay as due down the road.

JUDICIAL ADMINISTRATION, Judge: An official of the judicial branch of government with authority to decide lawsuits and preside over trials brought before the court. The term “judge” may also refer to all judicial officers, including Supreme Court justices. An applicant for appointment as a judge must have been admitted to practicelaw in California for at least 10 years.

NON-JUDICIAL ADMINISTRATION, The Executive Officer/Clerk, under the direction of the Presiding Judge, supervises all administrative activities and personnel, coordinates all staff activities and has charge of planning and improving management methods.

In my own experience Los Angeles County Court clerks, namely Delores Odom Stocks, a dysfunctional Black woman was allowed by the Los Angeles Superior Court to sign a court judgment, at my expense.  Court Clerks do not have this authority.  Only the Judge of Court of record has this authority, the Judge in the instance being Judge Steven Kliefield.

The innocent can be convicted without cause and then summoned to appear for jury duty.....I know first hand because this happened to me.....to which while in court I made this known to the court, and the court did not want this on the record, so I was given credit for performing my civic duty, given credit just for showing up......and I continue to have a clean record, inspite of the wrongdoing or unethical acts by Los Angeles County and Sacramento County court officials, etc., etc.

I’m one of multiple taxpaying law abiding residents who is not upset that LA County courthouses are being closed due to budget deficits.

10 L.A. County courthouses to close, Budget cuts are forcing the shuttering of courthouses in Beverly Hills, West Los Angeles, Malibu and other locations. The closures are expected to occur over the next eight months.

by Andrew Blankstein and Matt Stevens, Los Angeles Times, 11:11 PM PST, November 14, 2012

Los Angeles County court officials announced sweeping cuts in the judicial system Wednesday, including the closure of all courtrooms in 10 regional courthouses.

The cuts are expected to delay some trials, cause longer lines and result in more layoffs, but officials said it was the only option for closing a shortfall of $50 million to $80 million in the court budget.

Courtrooms will be shuttered in such landmark courthouses as Beverly Hills, West Los Angeles, Malibu, Avalon, Huntington Park, Whittier, Pomona and San Pedro. The courthouses will continue to handle some administrative matters, such as ticket payments, but will no longer hear cases.

The Beverly Hills and Malibu courthouses have been the sites of numerous celebrity proceedings over the years, including cases involving Zsa Zsa Gabor, Robert Downey Jr., Mel Gibson and Lindsay Lohan.

The criminal and civil cases from those locations will be reassigned to courts that could be anywhere from seven to 35 miles away, leading to longer commutes for jurors, witnesses, litigants and law enforcement officials.

The closures are expected to occur over the next eight months.

"It's devastating to the court system, and it's going to be a sea change in how we do our business," said Lee Smalley Edmon, presiding judge of the L.A. County Superior Court. "Unfortunately, there are going to be longer lines in each of our courthouses and great delays throughout the system."

Officials said civil courts will be particularly hard hit, with many civil courtrooms operating with only one court clerk and without any full-time court reporters.

It's unclear how many court workers will lose their jobs. The Los Angeles County courts have already laid off hundreds of employees and left more positions unfilled, resulting in longer lines to file paperwork and cases that plod along at a snail's pace.

In the last fiscal year, the court system shaved $70 million from its budget, in part by freezing wages and forcing staff members to take furlough days.

Plans also call for the creation of "trial hubs," which would handle certain classifications of cases, including small claims, landlord-tenant disputes, collections and personal injury. Those hubs would be spread at remaining courthouses throughout the county.

Antonio Bestard, a veteran civil trial attorney from Pomona, said that even before Wednesday's announcement, the effects of previous cuts were hard to miss.

"It's going to be an unfathomable burden that's going to deny the general public basic judicial remedies, from the smallest traffic infractions to the most complicated civil lawsuits," Bestard said.

David Sapp, a staff attorney for the ACLU of Southern California, worried that low-income litigants could be disproportionately affected.

"Some people are in immediate need of judicial relief and may not even be able to get in front of a judge, which is really scary in terms of access to justice," Sapp said. "This is going to make existing disparities even worse."

Richard J. Burdge Jr. president of the Los Angeles County Bar Assn., said that as devastating as the cuts may be, he believes they won't cripple the court system.

"It's not going to be easy, but there is going to be some civil justice system," Burdge said. "It's going to be incredibly burdensome for a claimant to travel halfway across the county to get to a courthouse and in some communities."

LAPD Cmdr. Andy Smith said that the same would be true for police officers and that their increased travel time could potentially reduce their ranks in the field.

But Smith said that his "real concern" is for the victims and witnesses who already may have difficulty getting to court.

"It'll be even more difficult to get people to testify if they have to drive or be transported a long distance."

"In 2012, being black means that there are no barriers to success except for the ones we put in front of us. You're black if you have one or two black parents. People across the world should know that black people will excel at any challenge given to them as long as the rules are the same for everyone."

Without question and reality also proves that law abiding U.S. born black men and women who play by the rules can also be barred from success, egregiously violated by government, killed or maimed by rogue police officers, face execution or be wrongfully executed on Death Row, have property or earnings denied, taken or withheld without just cause.....

....all while President Barack Obama, Clarence Thomas, multiple members of the Congressional Black Clueless.....AKA....the Congressional Black Caucus, black lawyers, black journalists, etc., etc., remain silent, and/or conspire with the perpetrators to further oppress U.S. born black men and women.

....President Barack Obama, Justice Clarence Thomas, multiple members of the Congressional Black Clueless.....AKA....the Congressional Black Caucus, black lawyers, black journalists and Caucasian liberals or conservatives who promote these misfits, are definitely disgrace to the office, the profession, etc., etc., and this is also a barrier to success for law abiding U.S. born black men and women.

CNN I-Report:  "There is a Price to Pay, When Elected Officials Use the Pulpit to Build a Voting Base, You Can Trash Your Own Reputation Through Association with Unethical and Sleazy Individuals!" uploaded by TheTruth53

CNN I-Report: "Graduating Magna Cum Laude from Harvard Law School is not alone proof of competency." by Unique81

"The Harvard Graduate Barack Obama is not smart, not a good administrator, leader, etc., and the BO Administration is not his friend either.

An effective and competent administrator, executive, leader, etc., would definitely do some research to at least check the integrity, moral values, etc., etc., of the individuals he is shaking hands with, meeting with, being photographed with, etc., etc.

Slim chance exists, that any truly ethical, moral, and competent individual would shake hands with, bargain with, be an associate or friend, say a prayer with, meet or conduct business with, etc., etc., any unethical, immoral, incompetent, sleazy, and/or individual (s) who are a known thief.

Barack Obama's advisers are not providing this information either, and it is certain that with all the so called university educated and experienced government officials a President, a Congressperson, a U.S. Senator has at his or her disposal, there is no excuse for this. Furthermore, BO has the power and authority to hire and fire anyone in his administration who is not protecting the integrity of the Presidency." by TheTruth53

....and it is certain that many other ethical, moral, and competent individuals would agree, so much so, that you won't find TheTruth53 or other like-minded individuals shaking hands with, bargaining with, being an associate or friend, saying a prayer with, meeting or conducting business with, and/or in a photo with no good Reverend John Hunter or other proven and known to be disgraceful individuals.

Thus far the only elected official foolish enough to maintain an alliance with no good deceitful and thief for a Reverend John Hunter is President Barack Obama, unethical no good Attorney Rickey Ivie or other deceitful individuals,

...or the other defendants being sued, Denise Hunter, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Irma Brown Dillon, Dean E. Brown, Donald Wilson, Elmon Bon Leggett, Melville Perrry, Constance Fortune, etc., etc.

.....being sued by FAME church members, Attorney Robert Silverman,.....for stealing, much of the money stolen by the "Sleazy and the Greedy" being FAME Church Tithes or Federal Housing and Urban Development (HUD) taxpayer's money.

.......by and large other elected officials from every political party affiliation cut all ties with Reverend John Hunter.

"First AME Church is at a crossroads" by Angel Jennings, Los Angeles Times, June 5, 2012

Paragraph from the above LA Times article: "As the pastor of the oldest black church in Los Angeles, the Rev. John J. Hunter earned a generous salary, lived in a $2-million home and drove a Mercedes-Benz paid for by the church. His wife earned $147,000 a year running nonprofit organizations connected to the 19,000-member congregation.  But over the last few years, the hilltop church in the West Adams district has fallen into debt.  The First African Methodist Episcopal Church owes nearly $500,000 to creditors. Some vendors say they have not been paid in more than a year."

It can't be good when any elected official, especially the President of the United States, is in a photo, and being blessed by one of many disgraceful and unethical, jackleg preachers in the black community, namely no good Reverend John Hunter."

...and voting should be based on how well an elected official upholds the "Oath of Office", the Constitution and not party affiliation.

This is where a dysfunctional black electorate are misguided, in that voting allegiance should not be entirely associated with political Party affiliation or influenced by any Reverend to deliver votes to any political party.

Of all the ethnic groups the black electorate is the only solid segment of voters that consistently votes better than 90% in favor of the Democratic Party, or Democratic candidates.

The Democratic Party incumbent candidate voted for could be a carpet-bagger (Yvonne “Brentwood” Burke, Rod Wright, Martin Ludlow), a jackass, a cut-throat or blatantly inept (Barack Obama), unethical (BO, HW, JJ, MW, MD, MRT, etc., etc.), sleazy (“The Magic NegroBarack Obama, Herb Wesson, Maxine “Kerosene” Waters), a thief (Jesse Jackson, Jr., Kerosene Waters, etc., etc.), a liar (Barack Obama), an illegal immigrant (Merv Dymally), a convicted felon (Marian Barry) an illegal immigration advocate or bootlicker (BO, MD, multiple members of the CBC, Diane Watson, Mark Ridley Thomas, etc., etc.)  and typically just to support the Democratic Party, better than 90% of a truly dysfunctional black electorate would still vote for individuals unfit for office, as opposed to voting for candidates who truly respect the oath of office, the Constitution, the rule of law, be the party affiliation Democratic, Republican, Independent, grass roots or Tea Party oriented.

Lies Don't Keep Us Safe. Keeping Us Safe Requires Respect for the Rule of Law and the Constitution. The government's argument is untenable. “The government cannot, under any circumstance, affirmatively mislead the court” by U.S. District Judge Cormac J. Carney
