11th Anniversary Trip to St. John

My husband, Dennis and I went to St. John, USVI to celebrate our 11th wedding anniversary in October. We met the wonderful woman who married us on Hawksnest Beach for lunch at the Tourist Trap, a funky hangout just seconds from Salt Pond in Coral Bay, "don't blink you just missed it". The Tourist Trap offers great food on the way to Lameshur and Little Lameshur Beaches (and some great hiking!). We had AWESOME pulled pork nachos (on that day's Special board), GREAT Caribbean Lobster rolls (from lobster that had just come in) and a wonderful drink of the house, Larry's Drink Right-Keep Left, because, of course, you drive "on the other side of the road" in the USVI. We had a beautiful view of Coral Bay and after about two hours of reminiscing and catching up, learning more about the customs and culture of St. John from Anne Marie, the wonderful woman who married us 11 years ago, Mary, Larry's wife (Anne Marie joined the two of them in holy matrimony as well!) took pictures of us and we went on our separate ways, promising to meet again, soon, in St. John at another local eatery!
