Rockaway Beach NY Visit - November 12th 2012

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     JessVecc told me, 'The outpouring of help was inspiring. We saw people from all over New York city and state as well as out of state, coming in with supplies, sorting and giving out supplies, generally helping with the relief, recovery efforts. I was particularly struck with the organization of Occupy Sandy. They really have their act together, and it's a good thing.'
    - hhanks, CNN iReport producer

A group of people from Brooklyn NY and the Catskill Mountains went to Rockaway on Monday, November 12th to play music and tell stories to kids and to bring much needed supplies. It was clear very quickly that Occupy Sandy was extremely well organized and was providing a very important lifeline of supplies to the Rockaway area.
