    Fire for a Cause

Rave 20-TWELVE "Fire Your Beats" was a spectacularly themed Bonfire Event Night. The evening constituted of a plethora of fun-filled activities including music, sumo wrestling, joust, live stream photo-booth, a crackling fire and neon lighting. Tickets were sold to students from SZABIST and outsiders on reference. The official brand sponsors included Disney Fun, National Investment Trust, Soneri Bank and Kaybees. The Venue was at The Soire (on Main Khayaban-e-Shamsheer). There were strict security arrangements and the organizers were on their feet for the whole evening catering to the various people who were attending and maintaining a good ambience for all who were present.
This event was conducted by the students of Szabist BBA-VD as part of a project for Business Ethics which is a course being instructed by Ms Hina Shamsi Nauman. This was her endeavor to grant the students an opportunity to experience real world business dealings and instill ethical practices in it. Thus part of the funds generated will be donated for the people at Darulsukun and CCF (Children Cancer Foundation) and for cleaning the areas near Jade Garden with the help of CGDK. The media partners for the project include Aaj TV and Youth Correspondent.
It was indeed a memorable night for all involved and the partying and fun provided a merry break to many youngsters and students from the same tedious routine of everyday. However the main purpose of the event was to organize a well-coordinated fund generating activity in order to utilize them towards CSR activity of various types.
