    A Brave New 4G World Demands More From Spectrum

     

    Welcome to A Brave New 4G World. Our digital world is evolving into a modern ecosystem of mobile infrastructure technologies , i.e. LTE, HSPA+, WiMax, Wi-Fi around telecommunications, broadband networks, Ethernet, internet, the world wide web, and wireless emerging mobile devices used to explore virtual reality with digital Android tablets, iPads, iPhones, smartphones, and other hand-held devices. The Spectrum Summit opened the global debate about the crunch on wavelength, bandwith, and soundwaves which have been fragmented and need to be reconstructed by building a new broadband network infrastructure for faster telecommunications with fiber optics making a Quantum Leap for speed and big data computing.
    Our Mobile Community met at the 4G World Conference and Expo while the telecommunications industry is evolving into building a new broadband network infrastructure with wireless technology in a virtual digital world. Keynote speakers included all of the major U.S. mobile carriers and many of the leading international operators who have launched advanced mobile services such as AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile, MetroPCS and Clearwire, as well as KDDI, Telstra and other leading global telecom providers.
    4G World featured three (3) summits debating critical issues surrounding mobile telecommunications.
    The Small Cells Summit discussed the trendiest areas in the mobile infrastructure virtual space led by Michael Howard, principal analyst and cofounder of Infonetics.
    The Mobile Cloud Summit opened the hottest niche market paving the way in which future mobile services are monetized, keynoted by Michael Lock, Vice-President of Americas, for Google Enterprise.
    The Spectrum Summit focused on the scarce resource that is the critical driver of the 4G industry—Spectrum, “the most precious resource which is the oxygen that enables the path to 4G”, according to Berge Ayvazian, chairman and host of the 4G World Conference and Expo 2012.
    Chris Pearson at 4G Americas debated the exploration for more spectrum begging to add public use of this scarce resource, PLEASE:
    Plan for the future
    Locate and identify harmonized spectrum
    Enact legislation to make spectrum available for public use
    Ask for cooperation in the use of spectrum
    Solve the spectrum crunch
    Enable growth of the industry and the economy
    The Annual 4G World Conference prepares for growth while moving from Chicago to Dallas in 2013. Next year, 4G World 2013 will be taking place at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center from October 28-30.
    In addition, UBM TechWeb, the global leader in technology media and professional information, producer of 4G World announced expansion to India. 4G World India will take place at the Epicentre, Gurgaon, Delhi from April 25-26, 2013.
