    SMACNA Arizona Poker Run

Cindi Wilkos (center) of Tempe won first prize of $300 in the Seventh Annual SMACNA Arizona Wheels for Meals Poker Run. Wilkos, a guest of Sheet Metal Workers International Association (SMWIA), Local 359, had a high hand of four jacks. Capturing second place and $200 was John Herrell (right) of Peoria with four sixes, while third place went to Brian Sutton of Mesa with a full house of tens over aces. Herrell and Sutton were guests of the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipefitting Industry of the United States and Canada (UA), Local 469.

More than 75 riders participated in the event, which raised $1,500 for the Area Agency on Aging’s home meal delivery program. The poker run was hosted by SMACNA Arizona (the Arizona Chapter of the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors’ National Association), P.I.P.E. (Piping Industry Progress and Education Trust Fund) and NECA (the Arizona Chapter of the National Electrical Contractors Association), along with members of SMWIA, Local 359; UA, Local 469; and International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 640.
