    Macy's Parade Balloon Inflation

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     iReporter RVCFOTO captured these stunning images of the giant helium inflatable balloons that form the most spectacular part of Macy's annual Thanksgiving parade in New York City. An entire team of technicians is on hand to ensure that the balloons are sufficiently inflated -- and secured so they don't float away. "It was so much fun for both the parents and the children there watching the balloons coming to life," she said. Our iReporter will be attending Thursday's parade, which comes as the city slowly recovers following the devastation of Superstorm Sandy.
