    The Green Flash is Real !

    San Diego is having fantastic weather clear and dry which is optimum conditions to see a Green Flash.
    Wednesday I went to Ponto Beach which is very close to Carlsbad State Beach about 30 miles North of San Diego Ca.
    A full red/orange sun was setting over the Pacific Ocean  and having seen hundreds of Green Flashes the past 15 years I was SURE we had a good chance to see one during this sunset.
    Surfers dotted the waves  trying to get one last wave before it became too dark to see the swells....As the sun set I captured a fantastic sunset and a beautiful Green Flash ...
    These Surfers had the best seats in the house for the sunset and green flash ...
