The William Clinton Foundation will continue to champion the campaign against global poverty according to President Bill Clinton. He expressed this conviction in a recent keynote speech during Europe's largest business conference in London. President Clinton who now spends most of his time working for his foundation regretted that "easy access to the Internet was not universal". He added that the poorest people in the world have unequal access to education and technology.

Dr Chris Imafidon, (a world renowned scholar and consultant to governments) was one of the personally invited guests at the conference. Multi-award winning scholar, Dr Imafidon reiterated his earlier comments at the British parliament that "technology and education are the most potent tools for the total eradication of poverty anywhere in the world". He praised the "Clinton foundation and the Prince's trust for their very public support for the education of inner-city children" He agreed with President Clinton that "we now want to do things quicker, better and cheaper" but this was only possible via the use of new and emerging technologies. He called for the fundamental principles of e-government to be implemented by all.

Other speakers and dignitaries at the prestigious conference included Anthony Robbins, a highly acclaimed motivational speaker; Levi Roots of BBC's (Dragon Den) fame; Bear Grylls and several leaders and senior figures from the world of politics, entertainment, government and sports. The organisers, Blak Pearl Events drew praises from the delegates and guests. Dr Imafidon was also invited to a gala dinner hosted by President Clinton which raised funds for the Prince's trust and Clinton Foundation.
