    Life in China

    More from Kalalau123

I witnessed many self immolations in 1960's

In the 1950's and 1960's China had decided to oust the monks of Tibet. They had become a theological problem. Tibet monks contested Communist rule.  There was a wholesale slaughter campaign and murder of monks and  wholesale slaughter was rampant in the numbers of thousands of deaths. It was brutal repression.

Lobsang T. Rampa documented his take on the bitter repression and slaughter in his great books in the 1960's-1970's.
Today the new immolations are small in number but very catastrophic given their consequences. China cannot bear such scrutiny any more over such warlord rule over one of the most peaceful regions in all south-east Asia. I know this land and the people. China is wrong in the brutal force and military dictatorship and repression they apply to Tibet. I was just there recently. .
All the world must rebel over China's authoritarion actions towards Tibet's citizens..
China must leave Tibet and cease from all military rule and hostilities. There is no other way to end this historic debacle like the war between Israel and Palestine.

Since I have spoken out I am a target at Tibet's Chinese ruled border and I will be put in jail upon entering China.

I care not. A North Viet Namese or VC pot in the river, handcuffs by a fire in the Ia Drang Valley with no food for weeks, that I have done. No man can force me to admit anything.  China's dominance of Tibet will fail. Just give it time.

my best friend is the Dallai Llama's calligrapher. She says the  Chinese opposition will fail calamitously. I believe so too.
