    Actor Larry Hagman Passes Away at 81

    Larry Hagman, famed actor, passed away yesterday of a complication with Throat Cancer, he was 81.

     

    To most of us he was better known as the villainous, J. R. Ewing, of the TV series "Dallas".  The TV show began in 1978 and had a 13 year run.  The show  was recently revived earlier this year and returned capturing his character with the same vigor as before.

     

    Some of us remember him from his sitcom "I Dream of Jeannie"  (1965-1970) playing the roll of Major Anthony Nelson an astronaut, who spent all those years trying to keep Jeannie (played by Barbara Eden) a secret, as she was a true magical Genie.

     

    He will be remembered.
