    A multi story building in the middle of the highway

    Wenling, Zhejiang Province, CHINA

     

    A highway road is being constructed around a multi story building after the owner refused to sign the demolition consent because of the subsidy money failed to meet their demands. The road is not officially opened yet but there are some vehicles go around the house to pass.

     

    Luo Baogen and his wife are the only couple staying in the building. The images of the building in the middle of the road has gone viral this week. This is not the first time the home owners protest and resistant with the local officials to leave their homes for offering a price that is way too low.

     

    Luo was offered 220,000 yuan where the market rate for the house is 600,000 yuan.
