9th Muharram Procession Reached its Final Destination Peacefully in Karachi.

The procession was escorted by heavy contingents of Police and Rangers personnel and that no information was received about any suspicious terror related activities.
The government has claimed that strict security arrangements have been made across the country, specifically during main processions, after receiving intelligence reports of attacks. More than a dozen people have already been killed this week observing Muharram.
Cellular services are also blocked and pillion riding banned in sensitive areas of the country, including Quetta, Karachi, DI Khan, in an effort to prevent any untoward incidents.
