Christian calendar is based on miscalculation, says Pope Benedict XVI
The Christian calendar was created by Dionysius Exiguus, who Pope Benedict XVI says made miscalculations by several years. The pope argues in his book “ Jesus of Nazareth: The Infancy Narratives,” that Jesus was born earlier than it was previously believed. As the telegraph reports, the Catholic Church says that Jesus was born in a time between 7 B.C and 2. BC.
