The "diner". Small business!
Yes folks, they're still around, and I enjoy them. However they are slowly beginning to fade due to fast food in the last 20 or so years. Up and down the eastern seaboard into the the southwest, I have always found a "diner" to eat in.
This diner here is where I eat usually on Saturday morning. This is an authentic diner like the old days.
From the old metal sign out front of the building sponsored by Coca Cola, the neon sign, to the booths, the old fashion creamer and napkin holder, the Hamilton-Beach milkshake maker, the payphone, and yes,the uni-sex bathroom. LOL It says "men" but women use it also.
Yes folks all these things I have named are authentic. If you look at the bathroom door sign that says "men", you don't see those types of metal signs anymore. This is the real "McCoy" diner.
