    Liturgical Feast of St. Catherine of Alexandria - Zejtun News

    Today 25th November we are celebrating the liturgical feast of St. Catherine of Alexandria.

     

    In the days of the feast of St. Catherine in June within the Zejtun see major preparations of the two bands, where every day we find different marches. Different firework displays from both clubs.

     

    The Beland Band Club was founded in 1861 and the Zejtun Band in 1933.

     

    On this occasion the Beland Band Club is organising The Annual Concert, and also the Zejtun Band organised the Annual Concert on the 17th November. The Zejtun parish is celebrating the liturgical feast. recall of Saint Catherine, Sunday evening Vespers begins on 5.30pm while the mass start at 6. 00pm and is led by Archpriest. On Monday evening on 5.45pm start Vespers, on 6.15pm welcome to the ECC. Mons. Archbishop Emeritus Joseph Mercieca will lead the Mass concelebrated Mass of the Feast in the 6.30pm.
