    Early Christmas at Manila

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Multimedia arts student eyb22 from the Philippines took these images of Christmas lights around the country's capital, Manila, over the weekend. She says that Filipinos have a tradition of celebrating Christmas early due to the country's strong Catholic faith and history as a Spanish colony. "I wanted to share how beautiful and astounding it is whenever the Philippines celebrates Christmas," she said, "even when it hasn't yet reached the month of December."
    - sarahbrowngb, CNN iReport producer

It is said the Philippines is one of the countries that celebrate Christmas for a long time. It's already part of the Filipino Tradition that as the 'ber' month starts, same as celebrating the Christmas, and of course the country's capital; Manila proved it. Christmas lights are everywhere, may it be on the streets or buildings. It's really fun to travel here, not only when the sun is up but also when the lights are on.
