A Taste of Vietnam in Louisiana

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     kayteepea captured this photo of her delectable Pho before she 'made it all disappear.' Katie was anxious to get a taste of Vietnam in Louisiana, and discover a local favorite. She ordered the Pho with 'all the delicious meats, including rare flank steak and tripe.' Katie enjoyed every bit, and learned after her meal that Anthony Bourdain had just visited too!

I work weekends in New Orleans, and every time I'm there I make my pilgrimage across the Mississippi River to an amazing Vietnamese Restaurant named Pho Tau Bay. From the outside of the building, you might be skeptical of the delectable gems to be found inside. It is always worth the trip. I eat a lot of Vietnamese food, and this is one of the best, most authentic Vietnamese restaurant at which I have ever eaten. Even Anthony Bourdain has made a pilgrimage to the Pho Tau Bay. Apparently, he has good taste.
