The Gigantic Christmas Tree and the Moving Statues

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     iReporter LeviJun took these colorful images of Christmas decorations in Santa Rosa in the Philippines, a country where celebrating Christmas is taken to a whole new level. "I wanted to share how creative and beautiful Christmas is here in the Philippines," he said, "since we are known to be the people who celebrate Christmas from September to December!" Filipinos celebrate Christmas by attending "Simbang Gabi", a nine day series of masses beginning December 16. Our iReporter says that after attending all masses - on the last day, people make a wish and hope for it to come true.

This is the gigantic Christmas Tree that is around 20 feet tall that was built on the public plaza in Sta. Rosa Laguna Philippines, together with this gigantic Christmas Tree, there are also a mechanical statues that were also built in the same place. These mechanical statues awesomely move and portray the birth of Jesus Christ within 30 minutes. The show starts everyday at 6PM to 12 midnight.
