Cheerleaders Shave Heads in Support of Coach Battling Leukemia

Two cheerleaders of the Indianapolis Colts took a challenge from Colts mascot "Blue" to shave their heads to raise $10,000 for leukemia research. Cheerleaders Megan and Crystal Ann had their heads shaved on the sidelines after the third quarter during the nationally televised game between the Buffalo Bills and Indianapolis Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. Colts fans responded by exceeding that goal and put up over $22,000 for research.

Many of the Colt players have already shaved their heads in support of Head Coach Chuck Pagano who after only three games of his first year as Head Coach has been on an indefinite leave of absence since September as he undergoes four to six months of leukemia treatment.

You can donate to the Blues CHUCKSTRONG Challenge on the Colt's official website:

Individuals who shave their heads can tweet photos using #CHUCKSTRONG and #OperationShaveMegansHead and they will appear on the CHUCKSTRONG page.
