    David Letterman and Oprah Winfrey

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     David Letterman hosted a special rare chat Monday evening with Oprah Winfrey at his alma mater, Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. It was their latest meeting after a years-long feud that ended in 2005 and they appeared on each others' shows.

    The university gave away all tickets available after students camped out two weeks ago for the opportunity to attend. BobbyEllis91 covered the event for the Ball State Daily News, and shared these excellent shots. Winfrey reportedly spoke about her past of being abused as a child as well.     Ball State students got a chance to sit in on a talk with David Letterman and Oprah Winfrey when they visited the college in Muncie, Ind. on Monday.

    The talk focused on Winfrey's life and how she became who she is today and was part of Ball State's David Letterman Distinguished Speaker Series.
