    PayPal Expedited Fraud Process within Seconds.


    My PayPal Credit Card account was hit with three fraudulent transactions within 2 hours of adding funds, and 1 hour after sharing my card number with an apartment leasing company in Portland, Oregon. PayPal Expedited Fraud Process within Seconds.


    I received an email from PayPal letting me know that a charge had hit my account. I knew immediately that the charges were fraudulent.


    Email Alert from PayPal – Anyone with a PayPal account should immediately set up email notifications.


    Because of PayPal’s email notification, I was alerted that a charge had been authorized and was pending payment. Well, I did not authorize this charge. I pulled up paypal.com/contactus and called PayPal. The first thing we did was shut down the card. While on the phone with PayPal, two more charges came through for a company in the UK.


    Yet another transaction was attempted while I’m on the phone with PayPal. This time from the Grgian Hotel in Ohio!


    PayPal’s Fraud Protection is as good as any major credit card. I was pleased that they handled my account expeditiously and, treated me like a loyal customer. All charges were reversed, my card deactivated, and another card ordered.

If they find that someone has used your PayPal account without your permission (for example, someone stole your account password), or there was an error (for example, money was incorrectly taken from your account), they’ll cover you for the full amount of every eligible unauthorized transaction.


    Finally, if a transaction doesn’t go as planned, or you’re worried about anything at all, like fraud or phishing, PayPal will make it easy for you to report issues, and get help. On top of all this, they provide additional protection through their Purchase Protection and Seller Protection programs.


    It is the holiday season and there are all kinds of thieves out there.
