U of MN Hospital delivers 19 boys in a row
Ryan Davenport, media relations director for Fairview Health Services, said they were unaware of a streak like this ever happening before at the medical center. 'One of our nurse managers is calling it a "statistical marvel,"' he said in an email. As of Monday, the medical center had delivered 106 boys and 77 girls for the month of November.
The baby's father, Mohamed Guled, said when his wife was about to have the baby, he said 'the room became full of nurses' wondering if their baby would continue the streak (the couple didn't know the gender).
Guled is owner of a company called Dauus, which makes diapers under the brand name Nuna. He decided to donate a three-month supply of diapers to the 19 baby boys born before his daughter. 'Since we spoiled the party for them not being the 20th boy, we can at least give them a consolation prize,' he said with a laugh.

The university of MN Hospital delivers 19 boys in a row. But what is more interesting is that my niece is the little girl who broke the streak.
My sister Naima gave birth to a beautiful little girl today not knowing that she was about to break a string
of 19 new born baby boys being delivered in the same hospital.
What is even more interesting is that her husband Mohamed Guled who is the CEO of Dauus a Minnesota based company that makes baby diapers (NuNa) offered to give each of the 19 boys 3months supply of baby diapers.
What a story.
