Canlubang Sugar Mills - One of the Oldest establishments in the Philippines
Canlubang Sugar Mills was first established on June 1912, and had its first crop on December 1914. It was the second oldest establishment in the Philippines. It was owned by Yulo, one of the most influencial person in the Philippines. Some of his ownership in Canlubang, Laguna, Philippines were successful in partnership with Araneta and they called their partnership "Yulo-Araneta Clan". This Sugar Mill is one of Canlubang's glorious past. After the death of Yulo, many establishments closed.
I visited this abandoned Mill because my grandfather worked here in the past. He was one loyal driver of this establishment.
